Copyright:       Type: Newspaper
Description: While he's in the workhouse, Catherine sells all his stuff and does a runner.

Transcript:
Threatening and Intimidation.Thomas Edwards summoned his wife, and charged her with hiding his clothes, books and papers. Complainant is a pauper, and the defendant at the last Court, alleged that she had paid for the things. It seems that the wife has now sold off the things and gone away, in order to evade an order made by the guardians for a sum towards his maintenance. The magistrates said were ready to dismiss the case last week, but they adjourned it in the hope that they would make it up. They should now dismiss the case it being understood that complainant would take some other remedy.
