TRUE IVORITES.-The annual conference of the St. David's Union, district of South Wales, took place on Tuesday, the 3rd inst., at the Temperance Hotel, in Portland Street. Upwards of 30 delegate. attended from the various Lodges; and from their report, it appears that the society is in a flourishing and prosperous condition. The members, we are given to understand, amount to upwards of 15,000, and are constantly increasing. After transacting the business of the meeting, the members sat down to an excellent dinner provided for them by Mr. and Mrs. Painter in their best style, and with which they expressed their unanimous approbation. Before leaving the town for their respective places of abode, the delegates visited the Devil's Bridge and other places of interest in the neighbourhood, and appeared highly delighted with the beautiful scenery which they had the gratification to witness.
