LLANILAR, The annual Licensing Sessions for the Petty Sessional division of Llanilar were held on Friday last. Supt. Jones reported that there were 7 seven day licenses (one of which was a beer house) and one 6 day license in the division, this being at the rate of one public house for every 753.87 of the inhabitants, the population according to the last census being 6,031. Five persons were proceeded against for drunkenness, and convicted, this number being a decrease of one as compared with the previous year. No proceedings were taken against any of the public houses, all of which had been satisfactorily conducted during the year. No occasional licenses or extensions of time were granted.

All the licenses were renewed, but the Bench intimated, at the request of the police, that urinals should be provided at the Oak Inn, Figure Four, and the Farmer's Arms, Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn.
