Derbyniasom post card heddyw yn ein hysbysu na allai John James, y Ship Inn, neu y Geneva Inn, a Evan Jenkins, Pentre Arms, neu y Brown Hotel, Llangranog, ddim smuglo ar un cyfrif pe buasent yn dewis gwneyd hyny, o blegid mae y ddau coast guard yn rhy ami ar aelwydydd y tai hyn.

[We received a postcard today advising us that John James, Ship Inn or Geneva Inn, and Evan Jenkins, Pentre Arms or Brown Hotel, Llangrannog, cannot do any smuggling even if they wanted to as the two coastguards are very often sitting at the firesides of these houses.]
