Affiliation -Mary Anna Davies, St. Mary's-lane, summoned Thomas Owens, Eben's-lane, fitter, to show cause, &c. Mr. John A. G. Evans appeared for complainant, and Mr. Henry R. Daniel for defendant. It transpired that complainant was in service at the Plasterer's Arms from three weeks before November, 1888, till April 2nd, 1889. The child was born on the 17th ult. It was contended that defendant used to meet complainant when she was fetching faggots for her mistress from the Drawbridge. They had met about half-a-dozen times. Three witnesses were called by complainant, who spoke to having seen the two walking together once on the road between the Plasterer's Arms and the Drawbridge about Christmas last. The case dismissed for want of corroborative evidence, complainant to pay 8s. 6d. costs
