ENCAMPING ON THE HIGHWAY. P.C. David Davies, sworn I was on duty on Monday afternoon near Pwll Simon, where I found the prisoner, Thomas Williams, and his family. consisting of his wife and four children, in a tent by the side of the highway leading from Penparcau to Llanbadarn, and took him into custody on the charge of encamping on the highway. The place where the prisoner was is a few yards from the "wooden house." He had a fire in the tent. Fined 5s., including costs.
