Aeth i Ystumtuen, lie 'roedd llawer o fwnwyr yn gweithio ar y pryd yn y gweithiau plwm, creaduriaid anystyriol ac anuwiol ofnadwy. Arddelwyd ef yma mewn modd neillduol ao amlwg iawn. Un noson Sadwrn talpan oedd y mwnwyr yn yfed ae yn meddwi mewn tafarn gerllaw, daeth Humphrey Jones a rhai o'i gyfeillion i mewn. Aeth ar ei liniau yn nghanol y gegin, gweddiodd nes dychrynu yr yfwyr a'r meddwon, a ffoisant ymaith am eu hoedl, a chafodd amryw obonynt droedigaeth wirioneddol felly yn y dafarn, trothwy yr hon na chroesasant byth wedyn.
