Report of terrible floods in 1848: "Christopher Hall's cellar was at the same time nearly filled by the flood, and some damage occasioned in consequence, but honest Kit says that his best double X is untouched, and is as strong as ever" Welshman 11 Feb 1848 - unclear which pub this was

1892 - Jane Hall, widow, died aged 89.
