"P.C. Joseph Price charged Sarah Davies, Castle Rock, Llandisiliogogo, licensed victualler, with selling intoxicating liquor during prohibited hours, on the 23rd August. Fined 10s., and 9s. 6d. costs. Evan Evans, Panau, farm servant, who was found on the premises, was fined 2s. 6d., and 9s. 6d. costs."
Cambian News 21 Sept 1877
Nothing obvious in 1881 Census. Llandissiliogogo and Llangrannog are adjacent, so possibly an error in reporting. Interestingly, in 1881, Castle Rock Llangrannog is occupied by a farm labourer called Evan Evans. In 1884 Castle Rock is for sale and occup by a Thomas Davies.Additional information
