This was 'a' Commercial Hotel, for Commercial travellers. Not to be confused with 'the' Commercial Hotel on the corner opposite the station.

It seems to have moved a bit. One visitor's list in 1885 says Lewis Terrace, 1886-89 is Mill Street, then probably moved to Bridge Street in 1889/90 and dropped the 'Temperance'Notes:
