Description: Transcript: THE IVORITES. On Wednesday, June 3rd, the Penllwyndu lodge of Ivorites held a grand field day. In the morning the club paraded the district, preceded by the Bronwydd brass band, and called at the principal houses of the gentry on the Tivyside. They received liberal contributions from each place in aid of the funds, the whole amounting to upwards of £11. Afterwards they returned to Penllwyndu, where a grand dinner had been provided for the occasion. This club is well patronized, and the result of its present turn out, has greatly augmented the funds.
