"ABERYSTWYTH. Drowning Case. On Monday evening Dr. Bassett Jones held an inquest at the Police Station touching the death of David Evans (52) mason, residing at the Royal Oak Inn whose body was found floating in the harbour on Saturday night. Thomas Jones, a boy of 14, spoke to seeing the deceased staggering along Sea View-place at 9.30 on Saturday night. The man was very drunk, and his road lay in the direction of the harbour.
