"Excise Cases Sarah Wilson, Quay-street, Cardigan, was charged by Supt. Richard Lloyd with selling beer without a license on the 30th of August last. The case was proved by P.C. Dennis Williams, and defendant was fined £20, with a recommendation that it be reduced to £10, with costs" AO 10 Nov 1877
