"Mr. James also applied for the transfer of Glanmorllyn Inn, Cwmtydu, from Mary Davies to Enoch Davies. Sergeant Davies said that Deputy-chief Constable Williams did not think this house necessary. The Bench granted a temporary transfer for a month." WGWWA 3 Sept 1903

"In the case of Glanmorllyn, Cwmtydu, Mr. Pennant James appeared for the licensee (Mr. David Davies), and Mr. James Jones for the owner (Mr. Edward Davies, Rhondda, Llandyssul). Annual profits were averaged at £10 6s. 10d., valued on five years purchase at £51 14s. 2d. The annual value of the house with licence was £6 and without licence £3 10s." CN 11 July 1919
