Transcript:
Death OF Mr. John Miller, of Morfamawr. An Inquest was held in a cottage called The Plough, on the farm of Morfamaur, on the body of the late Mr, John Miller, where the deceased resided, on Saturday, before Dr. Rowland, of Tregaron, the coroner of the district, and a very respectable jury, of which Mr. Barrett Price Jordan, of Aberayron, solicitor, was foreman. After a minute and protracted inquiry, in which several witnesses, amongst whom Dr. Williams, of Aberayron, Mr. Hughes, farm bailiff, and Miss Evans, the deceased's housekeeper, were examined, the jury came to the conclusion that the deceased terminated his life by shooting himself with a double- barrelled gun during a fit of temporary insanity, and gave a verdict accordingly.
