Tafarn Trip was sited on the Maestir Road from Pontfaen, and stood where the Old Peterwell Golf Club used to be.
According to Iwan Wmffre in his “Place-Names of Cardiganshire” published 2004, -
“This was an illegal drinking pub which fell into ruin a long time before the wooden golf clubhouse was erected”.
