OBITUARY. The death occurred recently at Ystrad, South Wales, of Mrs. Betsy Evans, at the age of eighty. Deceased was well known to the older inhabitants as Betsy Jenkins, daughter of the late Mr. Dd. Jenkins, blacksmith, who at one time kept a smithy near the Harbour and, in conjunction with Mr. John Jenkins, of the Chain and Anchor Inn, carried on an extensive business in the making of anchors and chains and other work for shipbuilding, Her husband (Mr. Morgan Evans) predeceased her about twenty years ago. Deceased leaves three sons and a daughter and was a member or the Independent Church
